We are glad to present the first Indoor RadioPlanner release.

Indoor RadioPlanner is designed for planning indoor wireless networks. Release 1.0 is mainly intended for planning Wi-Fi networks in the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz bands, but it can be used for planning indoor GSM/ 3G / LTE / 5G networks in the frequency range 300 MHz – 7.5 GHz.

1. Added Longley-Rice propagation model for coverage prediction in mobile projects.


2. The feature of frequency planning has been improved. The maximum number of frequency groups has been increased up to 20. In addition, the use of coincident frequencies in different groups is now allowed; in the frequency plan table, these frequencies will be highlighted in the same color.


3. Added the ability to exclude water surfaces from the predicted coverage and thus determine the area covered in square kilometers (miles) excluding water bodies.


4. A few minor fixes.


Sample projects have been updated. You can re-download and reinstall the trial version; the day counter has been reset.

1. Added a feature of saving the coverage prediction to CSV file and MapInfo Exchange file (MIF + MID) for further coverage analysis in various GIS applications. For more details, see the updated User Manual.

2. Added "US Topo" and "US Topo Imagery" base maps. In order for the list of maps to be updated, click "Reset to default" in the Base maps setting after reinstalling the program.
